Mitä on anarkismi?

Anarkismi on poliittinen aate, jonka pyrkimyksenä on luoda taloudellisista, yhteiskunnallisista ja sosiaalisista valtahierarkioista vapaa yhteiskunta. Anarkismin kannattajia kutsutaan anarkisteiksi. He kannattavat vapaaehtoisiin suhteisiin perustuvaa yhteiskuntaa, jossa ihmiset ovat mahdollisimman vapaita ja tasa-arvoisia yksilöitä.

Anarkismin koostuu lukuisista eri suuntauksista, jotka painottavat erilaisia asioita. Kaikki anarkistit ovat kuitenkin samaa mieltä joistain perusperiaatteista. Näitä ovat keskinäinen avunanto, vapaaehtoiset yhteenliittymät, autonomia, itsehallinto, horisontaalisuus, suora toiminta ja vapaus päättää omasta elämästä.Radikaaliin yhteiskunnalliseen muutokseen tarvitaan vallankumous.

Nykyinen kapitalistinen talousjärjestemä ei toimisi ilman yhteiskuntaluokkien olemassaoloa. Valtio on olemassa pitääkseen yllä nykyisiä tuotantosuhteita ja turvatakseen omistavan luokan edut. Nykyaikainen valtiokoneisto on monimuotoisempi kuin se, jota anarkistit analysoivat ja pyrkivät tuhoamaan 1800-luvulla. Sen keskeisiin tehtäviin kuuluu kuitenkin yhä ylläpitää väkivaltakoneistoa (poliisi, armeija, rajavartijat jne.) ja uusintaa hallitsevan luokan riistoon pohjautuvaa maailmankuvaa (koululaitos, massamedia, edustuksellinen demokratia jne.).

Anarkistien tavoitteena on lakkauttaa kapitalismi, purkaa valtio ja rakentaa uudenlaisia, vapaampia ja tasa-arvoisempia yhteiskuntia. Anarkistit  tavoittelevat kommunistien tapaan luokatonta yhteiskuntaa. He  vastustavat kuitenkin luokan lisäksi kaikkia hierarkioita, tapahtui  ihmisten syrjivä lokerointi sitten sukupuolen, etnisyyden, seksuaalisen  suuntauksen, vammaisuuden tai jonkin muun asian perusteella. Vallankumouksella anarkistit eivät tarkoita valtiovallan siirtoa yksistä käsistä toisiin, vaan hierarkisten valtio- ja muiden hallinnan rakenteiden täydellistä purkamista. Muista poliittisista aatteista poiketen anarkistit eivät pyri johtamaan muita ihmisiä, vaan kannustavat kaikkia toimimaan oma-aloitteisesti oman elämänsä parantamiseksi paremman yhteiskunnan rakentamiseksi tässä ja nyt. Anarkistit pyrkivät järjestäytymään niin, että kaikilla olisi yhtälainen sananvalta kaikkia  koskeviin päätöksiin. Siksi anarkistien keskuudessa käytetään usein, joskaan eivät aina, konsensus-päätöksentekoa, suoraa demokratiaa ja muita menetelmiä, joilla pyritään osallistamaan kaikki yhteiseen päätöksentekoon.

Anarkistit eivät pidä edustuksellista demokratiaa todellisena demokratiana. Poliittiset puolueet ovat hierarkkisesti rakentuneita ja sisäisesti epädemokraattisia. Puolueet pyrkivät vahvistamaan valtiota ja sitä kautta ylläpitävät kapitalismia. Ne toimivat edustuksellisesti vailla laajempaa mandaattia. Puolueet pyrkivät toimimaan eturyhmänä ja etujoukkona sen sijaan, että ihmiset päättäisivät suoraan itse omasta elämästään ja sitä koskevista asioista. Huolimatta muusta vallastaan rikkaimmilla ihmisillä on myös vahva edustus parlamentissa ja tulee aina olemaan jos koko taloudellisen riistoon perustuvaa kapitalistista järjestelmää ei pureta. Taloudellinen eliitti ja valtio hyötyvät toisistaa, sillä rikkaat pönkittävät heitä suojelevaa ja heille erivapauksia tarjoavaa valtiota. Näistä ja monista muista syistä anarkistit toimivat ulkoparlamentaarisesti.

Anarkismi Suomessa

Suomen työväenliikkeessä esiintyi anarkistisia ajatuksia jo yli sata vuotta sitten. Samoihin aikoihin alettiin kirjoittaa suomeksi anarkismista ja kääntää sitä käsittelevää kirjallisuutta. Nykyaikainen anarkistinen toiminta alkoi muotoutua uudelleen käytännössä tyhjästä 1960-luvulla vaihtoehtoliikehdinnän ja opiskelijaliikkeen ympärille. Siitä lähtien on myös ilmestynyt taukoamatta erilaisia anarkistisia ja antiautoritäärisiä ajatuksia käsitteleviä tekstejä, lehtiä ja kirjoja.

Nykyään kaikissa Suomen isoissa kaupungeissa toimii useita erilaisia anarkistiryhmiä. Osa näistä ryhmistä on suljettuja ja osa kaikille avoimia. Tämän lisäksi anarkistit toimivat muun muassa asumiseen ja toimitiloihin liittyvissä projekteissa, kouluissa ja kasvatuksen parissa, työpaikoilla (yksilöinä ja/tai ammattiliittojen kautta) ja he kokeilevat erilaisia tapoja järjestää ruoantuotantoa. Anarkistien kiinnostus kattaa oikeastaan kaikki elämän osa-alueet vaikka yksilöt ja ryhmät painottavat usein jotain erityistä kysymystä toiminnassaan.

Suomen vanhin edelleen aktiivisessa käytössä oleva vaihtoehtomedia on anarkistinen Takku.net –sivusto. Takusta löytyy uutisten, pohdintojen ja foorumin lisäksi muun muassa tapahtumakalenteri. Kuka tahansa voi lisätä sivustolle tekstejä tai tapahtumia, kunhan ne eivät ole ristiriidassa sivuston periaatteiden kanssa.

Anarkismiin voi tutustua tulemalla erilaisiin tapahtumiin ja juttelemalla ihmisten kanssa. Tämän lisäksi kirjastoista ja internetistä voit lukea runsain mitoin tekstejä ja kokonaisia kirjoja anarkismista suomeksi, ruotsiksi, englanniksi ja muilla kielillä.
